First Aid (HLTAID011)
Inclusions
Our First Aid course equips students with essential skills and knowledge to provide effective first aid responses to infants, children, and adults. The course includes:
- 8 hours of pre-course online reading and assessment
- 9 hours of face-to-face practical training (including a 45-minute break)
- Hands-on practice using manikins for infants, children, and adults during the CPR session
- Training on responding to common emergencies such as bleeding, fractures, burns, and choking
- Step-by-step guidance on using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Practical scenarios to reinforce learning and build confidence in emergency care
- Official certification upon successful completion
